It was a day to remember for many of us.
For me, the biggest takeaway from it all was the sheer amount of people who have been supporting and sharing the restaurant in the days since the news broke.
The restaurant, which is run by chef and restaurant critic, James Beard Award-winning chef-owner and restaurateur Peter Thomas, has been a fixture of the Melbourne CBD since 2010.
In the space of a couple of months, we’ve seen the opening of the world’s biggest and most popular restaurant in Melbourne’s CBD.

Here’s the list of places we’ve visited, in order of the most popular places to eat in Melbourne: The St Kilda Club The main bar, known as the St Kildas Club, has become one of Melbourne’s favourite hangouts.
It’s where you can have a beer with friends, sit in on live music or watch a game.
We were able to go down for the first time in two years and I’ll be the first to admit that I was very excited about the new St Kladies Club.
I’d heard about the place for a while and I was excited to find out more.
It’s an incredibly exciting place to eat and I’m looking forward to visiting.
St Kladys is the first restaurant we visited and I can honestly say I wasn’t disappointed.
It has a great atmosphere, it’s got great food and it’s a great spot to eat.
There are a couple different bars in Melbourne, but we wanted to make sure we had the best bar we could.
It was definitely a big hit.
Hang out with the rest of the St Kitts, Nevis and Murchins family The St Kitt’s Club is a favourite hangout for everyone in Melbourne.
You can go for a beer or a cocktail at the club with friends.
The food is excellent and the drinks are pretty good too.
This place is one of our favourites in Melbourne and is so popular we decided to go back again and try it out.
Just to add to that, it was one of the first times we’ve been able to eat there and it was great!
It was a real honour to get to visit the StK Kitts Club.
The people are incredible, they have such a great time and they love to eat so much.
We were able at the last minute to have a meal in the club, but it was a big surprise because we weren’t expecting to have to wait that long.
Manners and manners are the key here.
The St Kittens have been around for so long and it means a lot to have the club open.

My family and I were able just to sit and chat and chat about the food and the weather, it just made me feel so comfortable.
It also made me think back to when I was growing up and how much fun it was to go out with my dad and my sister and my mum and her family and all of that.
It really is just a fantastic place to be.
On the first day of the club opening, the St Patricks family were also enjoying a lunch with James Beard award winner chef- Owner and restaurateurs Peter Thomas and James McNeill.
As James says, it makes a lot of sense to open the club to the community.
It is a great way for families to have lunch together.
It will also allow James and Peter to be able to serve food that will be served at other restaurants around the city.
When you’re the restaurant critic for a living, you realise how special it is that you get to meet people in the industry and have a good time.
One of the best things about going to the St Kathits Club is that there are no queues at all.
It means that we are able to cater for all the needs of the people that go there.
Food that we have had on our menu in the past, such as the bacon baklava, has not been available in the St. Kitts since the club opened.
James and Peter shared a meal with the owners of another favourite Melbourne restaurant, Bar-B-Que, and they shared a story of how Bar- B-Que started.
Bar-B -Que started as a pub in the early 1970s.
James and I went there with Peter, and the two of us had a great lunch.
Bar- Bar-Que is a family business and is a true Melbourne institution.
